I found a nice plugin that should integrate my picture album with the blog. This is so advanced :cool:

Phew, I just spent a couple of hours doing nothing but uploading and organizing pictures. So get to looking at them! :sax:

I messed up the picture album. It’ll be back up by tonight :)

Yesterday I was planning on uploading pretty much all the pictures that I have on my computer, but the server on which my site is hosted went down, so I wasn’t able to. At first I was very :argh: about it, but when I looked more into it (I went to my control panel at DreamHost’s page) it told me that they knew my site was down, along with a few thousand others, so it was understandable.
I’ll try to do that today, I should have plenty of time to do that.

Just in case you couldn’t tell, there’s a new URL for this page. It’s no longer alfaj0r.com/blog, it’s just alfaj0r.com, which I think is nicer :haw:
Now I just have to modify a bit those tabs on the top so that they actually go somewhere. The link for the picture album is up there now, and I’ll have to see what else I can link to.

Last night I talked to my brother Juan for a few minutes, and I told him I was learning PHP and MySQL the hard way, which is by doing without really knowing. So far, it hasn’t been too hard, but that’s thanks to all the useful guides that I’ve found. Specially the Wordpress and the Dreamhost ones, they are awesome! :woop:

I’ve decided not to go with Gallery as I had originally planned. I think that ZenPhoto will be much nicer, and just what I need, so I’m going to try to get that set up. However, the documentation is a bit sketchy, and it seems to be a lot more work than the Gallery one, so it might take a while.

I haven’t had much time to keep messing around with my new webhosting. The picture album is my first priority too, and uploading all the pictures takes a while, specially if I want to add comments to most of the pictures.

I also seem to have a LOT of storage in my account (almost 200 GB), so I’m looking around for cool things to do with all that space. If you have any ideas, just let me know :)

Lastly, I have “upgraded” the smileys/emoticons on here to be a bit more fun :toot: :dance:

This is the new blog+more. I’ve transferred over all my posts from my old blog (the one from nicoyogui.com.ar), and I am working on this now. Stay tuned for updates and changes and stuff.
