I’ve been going to the gym regularly for almost 3 months now. I feel a lot better, a lot stronger. Yesterday night I squatted 225lbs, and I was only struggling in the two last reps. That’s two 45lbs on each side of a 45lb barbell, by the way. It looks like a lot of weight, and it’s cool when it doesn’t feel too heavy :) All my other lifts have increased too, and I’m even able to do a few pull-ups and chin-ups!
I can also see and feel my muscles growing, my body is much more “toned”, or firm to the touch, and the body parts are starting to be more defined. I’m not huge, or ripped like Brad Pitt in Fight Club, but I feel like I’m looking better.
Anyways, I visit the SA forum’s Watch and Weight section regularly to keep me motivated and interested in the subject. I’ve also learned a lot of things there, and unlearned some too. In fact, that’s where I got my workout routine and tips on the exercises I do.
